Liz and Sean made me a grandfather for the 2nd time yesterday (December 13th), and I got to meet Brady William McVey today for the very 1st time. Mother and baby are doing very well!
Brady was born on the natal day of his great-grandmother, Jennie Heinley Baker.

not been keeping you up-to-date
I've not been using this blog to update all of you.
Liz and Sean got married 5 years ago on Aug 13th. Ciaran was born 1 year ago on
Aug 17th (this year Liz and Sean celebrated on the 15th at Clearview Ave with many friends and family).

loss of a Canadian friend
Red (George) Antclif died last week in northern Ontario. Red was 82 and was my closest rural Canadian friend (maybe my best "older" friend still living).
Red embraced me and my "yank" friends over 40 years ago. He helped us understand and love the "bush"(back country).

Commitment
I know that I wasn't there at the last two stated meetings. I did do a speaking part at the last MM degree.
My point is that Lodge committment should not only be judged by attendence at Lodge meetings, but by the committment to Fraternaty participitation in Lodge activities.

mom's funerneral
Well, my mother died this week-end.
Apparently some of my daughters/neices disagree with the dates chosen by my brother and me for the memorial service and burial.
